Why use Mascara
Apart from lipstick, mascara is your most effective
makeup tool. It is a great eye opener that emphasizes the lashes.
Apart from the obvious choice of colour, many brands promise to
thicken, lengthen, darken, volumize and condition your lashes.
They are also available in waterproof and regular formulas.
Using a proper application technique when applying mascara is
extremely important to achieve a finished look. You must ensure
that the mascara covers the lashes from the root to the tip of the
lash.
How to Apply Mascara
1. Decide the type of mascara and select one
appropriate for your lashes and the occasion. You have a choice of
lengthening, thickening, long-wearing, conditioning and waterproof
formulas, among others. For day, you might decide to add length, while
a night on the town may require a long-wearing or thickening formula.
2. Select a colour. If you have blond or red lashes, opt for brown
mascara. Darker-lashed women can consider brown for a casual look, and
black or brown-black for more pronounced or dramatic lashes.
3. Curl your lashes with an eyelash curler
if desired, and apply all other eye makeup prior to your mascara.
4. Remove the wand from the tube in one pull. Pumping the mascara will
push air into the tube, potentially drying out the formula and
introducing bacteria into it.
5.For best results, first look down and brush the top lashes from the
roots downwards, wiggle the mascara wand back and forth at the
base of the lashes to deposit colour before rolling the brush through
your lashes. Coat lashes from the very base to the tips with full
strokes. This method creates a thicker looking lash with the ends
separated and the base well defined. then look up and
brush the top lashes upwards.
.
6. Allow the first coat of mascara to dry before applying the second
coat in the same manner.
7. When applying more than one coat, combing through lashes
between coats will help prevent clumping. Clear Mascara can be used to
create a natural effect or on the brows for extra control.
8. Use less mascara for the lower lashes. Then still looking up, brush
colour on the lower lashes. Wait for a minute for them to dry, and
similarly apply a second coat. Finally brush with a clean dry brush,
to separate the lashes. Hold the wand vertically when applying
mascara to lower lashes, running this from side to side. Be extremely
careful as to avoid smudging the under eye area.
9. Remove any stray mascara around the eye with a cotton swab dipped
in a small amount of eye makeup remover.

STOP painting your lashes...TUBE them!
In order to understand Blinc Kiss Me mascara, you must begin by
forgetting everything you know about mascara. Why ? Because Blinc Kiss
Me Mascara is not an oil-based paint like most mascaras. It is the
world's original mascara formulation to form tiny "tubes" around your
lashes that cannot smudge, run, clump or flake and require only water
to remove. |
Applying:
You apply Blinc Kiss Me Mascara just like a regular
mascara. It is important that you do not use conditioners, lotions,
etc... before applying the mascara. Blinc Kiss Me requires a dry,
clean surface in order to adhere properly. When Blinc Kiss Me sets
(about 2 minutes), it will form tiny water-resistant "tubes" around
your lashes. The tubes will give your lashes volume and length. Unlike
traditional mascaras, you do not let it set before applying another
coat in order to build. Keep adding coats until you are satisfied with
the volume, length and degree of lash separation before the mascara
sets. Once it sets, you can no longer build.
Wearing: With Blinc Kiss Me, you will not have to re-apply
mascara throughout the day. Whether your daily activities take you
from the office, to your workout and then out to dinner, Blinc Kiss Me
will look as good in the evening as it did when you first applied it
in the morning. Did you know that most mascara sensitivities occur
because of gradual flaking into the eye? Blinc Kiss Me's non-flaking
properties make it ideal for active people, contact lens wearers,
those with sensitive eyes, recent permanent makeup candidates and/or
laser eye surgery patients...just to name a few.
Removing: When it's time to remove, Blinc Kiss Me only requires
a combination of lots of warm water and gentle pressure. Pressure
alone is not enough, and water alone is not enough. You can cry at a
wedding with the confidence that your mascara isn't running! That is
why Brides magazine ranked Blinc Kiss Me mascara as one of the top 10
mascaras to wear on your wedding day! So...lots of warm water AND then
gentle pressure, for example when taking a shower, will make the tiny
tubes effortlessly slide off your lashes, without leaving any tint or
residue behind. You will actually see the tiny tubes in your hand!
Since nothing is left behind, there is no long term paint build-up or
penetration, making Blinc Kiss Me healthier for your lashes. Also,
because there is no need for harmful eye makeup removers, using Blinc
Kiss Me is also healthier for your entire eye area since you will not
be rubbing the most sensitive part of your face.

Testimonial From happy user of Blink Kiss Me Mascara
I'd had my
eyes on Kiss Me mascara for absolutely ages. Being a dedicated
follower of Cosmo's beauty pages, I'd heard about this little wonder
product years before I'd actually bought it. I was skint, but sorely
tempted - it makes quite a claim, does Kiss Me mascara - we're led to
believe that it won't smudge, will stay put all day (and night), and
will make our eyelashes look longer, thicker, separated and generally
gorgeous.
So, does it deliver? Well, in short, yes.
When dry,
I noticed my lashes looked fabulous - dramatic, but not clumpy, and,
wait for it, shiny! Not scary shiny, but just nice - it gave me a more
doey-eyed look, as the shininess just made the light reflect around my
eyes more. The lashes, when I ran my finger over them, felt like shiny
plastic. I was very squeakily impressed with this, and spent most of
the day stroking them. Now, this would have ensured that most mascaras
left my eyelashes and started on a journey down my cheek, but Kiss Me
mascara stayed put throughout my vigorous attack of it. Later during
the day, I had a shower. Kiss Me mascara again stayed put. As long as
you don't rub your eyes after getting them wet, the mascara won't
budge.
