What does Evelle do ?
Antioxidants protect tissues against damage by free radicals, which are
generated within the body as unwanted by-products of normal metabolism, as well
as following exposure to environmental toxins and u.v. light. Free radicals
damage skin by degrading collagen and elastin, proteins responsible for
maintaining the structure and elasticity of skin, causing premature aging
through the formation of fine lines and wrinkles.
Vitamins C and E are the major water soluble
and fat soluble antioxidant vitamins, protecting the cytoplasm and membranes of
cells from oxidative damage respectively. Vitamin C is also important in
collagen formation.
Selenium is an essential cofactor of the antioxidant enzyme glutathione
peroxidase.
Extracts of tomato and blueberry are sources
of lycopene and anthrocyanosides respectively, which have potent antioxidant
activity.
Pycnogenol (derived from pine bark extract)
has powerful antioxidant activity, as well as beneficial action in helping to
maintain normal function of blood vessels/blood flow, thereby enabling the flow
of nutrients to skin cells.
Horsetail powder is a natural source of the mineral silicon, which is required
by the body for the formation of connective tissue, and is necessary for the
maintenance and growth of skin, hair and nails.
Biotin and zinc are cofactors in many
important enzyme reactions within cells, and are necessary for the normal growth
of skin, hair and nails.
Zinc is necessary for normal healing of skin irritations and wounds. The extract
of marine cartilage provides a source of polysaccharides and proteins which
promote normal skin texture.
Are there adverse effects from taking Evelle ?

effects. The individual components present in Evelle are well within recommended
